Disney Day 5 (our last day)

On the last day of our trip, I ran a 5K at Epcot (the official name of the race was: The Princess and the Frog Royal Family 5K). I drove over to Epcot at 6:00 am (part of me wanted to sleep in and skip the race).

The race was really cool. A lot of people dressed up (like princesses) and all the characters were along the race course.

I only stopped one time to take a picture:

I stayed at Epcot and waiting on Jason and the girls to meet me. They were so excited to see me and Claudia wore my finishing metal the whole day. (The sign says Friday, but it was really Saturday – Jason made it cause I forgot).

Marley was really excited about tasting Cokes from around the world, it ended up being her favorite part of the day.

We kind of stalked Mary Poppins! The girls really wanted to meet her and this was the only park she was at during our visit. We found out what time she would be out and we waited with a sign that said “Mary Poppins”!

During our visit, it was the Garden Festival and we saw a lot of cool topiaries.

Morocco ended up being our favorite county, the girls loved the belly dancer during dinner.

We loved Epcot. We rode the new Soaring ride twice and it was awesome! The weather was perfect and we wished we had two days to spend exploring the park. Perfect day to end our vacation!

Disney Day 4

Animal Kingdom

Of course we made it there early and were able to watch Mickey and Mini open the park.

We saw lots of cool animals:

We watched Finding Nemo, and it was an awesome show!

We really enjoyed the parade and the rustic/tribal looks of all the floats.

We really enjoyed our day at Animal Kingdom. It was very relaxing and fun day.

Disney Day 3

Back to the Magic Kingdom

 

We rode Thunder Mountain 3 times in a row, it was the girl’s favorite ride. Of course Claudia rode with her hands up!

We got a good spot for the night parade, the girls enjoyed eating funnel cake as we waited.

This fish was winking at us.

After the parade, we went and sat in front of the castle to watch the fireworks. So glad we stayed to watch because the fireworks were set to music – pretty cool!

 

We rode the boat from the Magic Kingdom to the camp ground for our 9:30 dinner show – The Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue. It was a very cold boat ride!

Ribs anyone?

 

It was an awesome dinner show. We all laughed and ate a lot. It was a very long day, we did not get back to our hotel room till midnight and we had gotten up at 6:30 that morning!
