Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. I love the weather, the food, and just the opportunity to hang out with family. This year, we are feeling really blessed and very thankful for all the opportunities that God has provided us with!

Dolls and Deer
We had an exciting weekend. Jason and Marley went deer hunting, and I took Claudia to the American Girl store.
I was so disappointed when I realized that I left my memory card in my computer (at home), so I could only take pictures on my I-phone.
She was so excited and we had a great time. The store was amazing and the Bistro was so cute!
Jason and Marley saw a deer, but were unable to get a good shot.
This is Marley taking a nap in the deer stand:
Jeremy killed a coyote:
Jason went back into the woods on Monday, and he and his brother both killed a deer:

Trick or Treat?
All treats at our house. So many, that I think I might have to go through a detox!
The girls looked cute in their costumes. Marley was a witch:
Claudia was a Bumble Bee:
Even Jason and I dressed up:
We tried to dress Maya up too, but she would only let us take one picture:
The girls got a ton of candy. Actually, Marley weighed her bag and it was 5 pounds!
Happy Halloween!

Life is better with Bacon!
Claudia loves bacon, so much that we have nicknamed her “Bacon”. She was so excited when Jason brought home this pack from the meat market. It did not did last long!

NASCAR Race
We went to the Great Clips 300 labor day weekend. This is the second year that we met up with family to enjoy the race. The girls loved the race and their attention span was better this year!
We hope to make going to the race a family tradition!

Trail Cam Pictures
Jason got some awesome photos on his trail camera in August/September.
(love this one of him coming up to the camera to get out the memory card.)
Now he really wants to go hunting!

Marley’s 10th Birthday
The day before Marley’s birthday, we went and met my parents and Addie for dinner at Chili’s.
On her birthday, we made her wait until we got home from church to open her gifts:
She got a chair for her room, a furry blanket, some clothes, a rug for her room, Kids Bop 20, and a camo bag to take hunting.
We ended up having Marley’s party at the skating rink. It was a blast! I loved how they did all the work and we just showed up with the cake!
Fun Times!
