Disney Day 2

We got to the Magic Kingdom at 8:15 and it didn’t open till 9:00.

The girls enjoyed playing with the Hula Hops while we waited for the opening show.

 

This was Claudia’s first time seeing the castle. She was very excited!

We did all the rides in Fantasyland first without waiting in one single line! 

Claudia had made a craft for Ariel. Ariel loved it and put it in her treasure chest.

 

      We ate lunch with Pooh and Friends. We really enjoyed it.

 

Our last ride of the day was the race cars. Marley and Claudia enjoyed driving even though they couldn’t hold down the gas pedal.

Disney Day 1

 

Claudia and Jason rode Tower of Terror. Claudia loved it! We rode a neat Star Wars ride but it made me feel sick!

Our favorite ride was the new Toy Story Ride, we rode it three times!

Playhouse Disney characters. Marley would not take her picture with them (I guess she felt like she was too old).

We ate lunch at the Sci-Fi Dine-In. It was really cool. You sat in cars like this one and watched movies just like you were at a drive-in.

Jason and Claudia both got picked to be in the High School Musical.

We had a great day first day!

Vacation

Last week we took a much needed vacation!

It was a great trip and we enjoyed being together as a family!

I have many pictures to share. This week has brought two cold’s and pink eye to my house, so I am a little slow in posting the pictures.

Cheap Labor

Today was a work day at our house. Lots of cleaning and lots of Laundry. The girls had to work on the team. Their pay: Bruster’s Ice Cream.

I was very impressed with their cleaning and their attitude. Since they worked so hard, I let them off early so they could go play outside.

The Right Place at the Right Time

Sometimes getting a deal means being at the right place at the right time. I was at Wal-Mart today while some clothing was being marked down to $1.00. I quickly snatched some shirts in my size and the lady scanned them down to $1.00 while they were in my hand. I just know that if I would have walked upon the same rack of clothing later today, my size would have been gone. I ended up getting 3 long sleeve shirts which included a detachable cami underneath and 2 tank tops:

 

I love these shirts because they are longer in length (which is what I prefer).

All the shirts were Wal-Mart's Organic line of clothing. I have bought several  items from this line before and just love the feel of the cotton:

5 Organic Cotton Shirts for $5.00. Definitely a deal to me!

Sweetheart Dance

Friday night, Jason took Claudia to the Father/Daughter Dance at school. She was so excited to receive flowers from her dad!

Snow

I can’t believe that this weekend the temps were in the 60’s and last weekend we had snow! I guess that is GA weather for you!
